Nice but...

Really nice shoe. Good fit (8N). I wanted to keep it but the top of the zipper totally dug into my ankle.

I love these! As a tall woman who wears size 12, it’s hard finding stylish boots that fit and don’t have a high heel. These are comfortable and fit great. I love the Cognac color. Exactly what I was looking for! I’d definitely order again.

Didn't Care for the Look, Zipper Hurt Ankle

These boots seem well made and comfortable on the sole; however, they were snug at the ankle and the zipper pressed right on my ankle. Maybe I could have stretched them out by wedging something into the ankle opening for a period of time but I didn't bother trying because I didn't really care for the western cowboy boot shape/look that I saw in these. I returned them but would be willing to try the Softwalk brand in a different style.

I recently purchased these booties and took them with me on a trip to NYC. They surpassed my expectations for holding up to nearly 10 miles walked in one day. I have flat feet with rolled arches and these shoes supported my feet all day with only a little bit of foot aching near the end of the day. I purchased the cognac color and love how the lighter stitching creates a little accent. They tend to run on the snug side if you have a wider foot but will stretch a bit since they're leather.

I would've kept these but. . .

Wow, these booties felt amazing to stand and walk in BUT I had to send them back because the zipper rubs against my ankle bones. I liked how they felt so much when I stood in them that I purchased another pair of Softwalk, combat boot style, which I'm hoping that the zipper on those will not bother my ankle bone.

I searched and searched for cute black booties to wear with my longer, wider pants. These are comfortable enough to wear to work - a difficult thing to find since I stand all day and do walk quite a bit. They look very nice. Only complaint it the high price. But worth it - seems like they will last a long time.
