Saucony Kinvara 16 Running Shoe - Women's

I am the biggest supporter of Kinvara since I started running in them in 2012. I have done thirteen 70.3 races, about 40 Olympic distance and probably close to 100 sprint tris exclusively in my Kinvaras. I have tried a different shoe here or there over the years but have always gotten injured. I now work in a running specialty store that stocks over 60 models of running shoes, all of which I’ve tried, and all of which feel like garbage compared to my Kinvaras (love the 16th version by the way!!!). People come in all the time looking for a NORMAL shoe (one without a ridiculous stack height) and I always give them Kinvara. It’s one of the very few shoes out there that lets your feet work the way they are supposed to. I absolutely recommend Kinvara 16 to anyone who wants the lightest, most breathable shoe out there that will let your body move naturally.

This is the only sneaker I have bought that worked well for me and my runs. I have not had to make any adjustments in terms of cushion or support. This provides all I need, is light and usually I can find great color combinations. My favorite so far has been the NYC Marathon combo. I have wide feet and this has been my go to forever! Love my Kinvaras!

Great shoe comfort at its best! Light does not weigh down ankle

I absolutely love this version, just put an order in for my second pair. I agree with other reviews that durability could be improved. That being said, these reminded me of the 12’s and 13’s. The versions previous to the 16’s were too much of a diversion from the classic Kinvara and I’m so glad to have the 16’s!

I've been a longtime lover of the Kinvaras and just purchased my second pair of 16s after wearing out the first. They're my go-to run and daily shoes so it didn't surprise me when they started to show wear. This version felt like a lot of what I loved about the 13s. I can understand why people want more support or cushion in their shoe, but these give me the lightweight, low-drop experience I'm after. Also, I have incredibly wide feet and didn't experience discomfort in the toebox. Any blistering I experienced from increasing my mileage was resolved with heel lock lacing. Looking forward to the 17s next time around.

I really really want to give these shoes five stars but I just can’t. They just don’t last long. I run 1-2 miles 2-3 times a week on either a treadmill or road and I went through the tread of the first pair I had in less than six months. I was shocked at the quick deterioration since I don’t actually run very often or long distances. I’m now on my third pair in barely over a year, and they don’t hold up much better as a daily use shoe either. The only reason I keep buying them is because they’re the only running shoe I’ve found that doesn’t leave me with plantar fasciitis pain or shin splints. Please improve the durability of the outsole on these for future models.

Bought in March, they run a bit too short for me (not enough toe as usual for this size in my opinion). They are comfortable so I still wear them but I'm a bit disappointed because I always buy Saucony shoes the same size and this is the first time it was a bit tight/didn't feel quite right.

Not only do these shoes support me as I run and make me feel fast and spiffy, but the colors are truly excellent. I love these shoes— thank you, Saucony!
