Great Walking/Hiking Shoe

This is the perfect multi-functional shoes for walking and light to moderated hiking which we do a lot of in Colorado. This shoe has a sturdy tread, but they're also lightweight - which feels great on your foot and in your suitcase for travel!

Cute but falling apart

So I think these shoes are so comfortable and cute. But… after 2 days of wearing them one of the seams on the side started to undo and now there’s a hole. I really wanted these shoes to be high quality because they offer wide shoes but I guess I’ll have to find another brand.

I have several different type of Ryka shoes; water, Zumba and walking. All of these are extremely comfortable. While the trail shoes have a very good sole and great arch support, I find that the height of the heel area a bit high, causing it to rub and sometimes irritate the ankle area. I am hoping that this subsides with time. The other Ryka shoes don't have this issue.

fits weird

I bought a 1/2 size up for thicker socks and hiking in warm weather. The middle area and top is very small and pushes down on the top of my fit while the toe box and heel have plenty of room. Not sure what kind of inserts to use. My last Ryka shoes were perfect for walking but they were not wide and I could feel it on my bunion so I went wide this time.

I bought these about 2 weeks ago. I like the style and color. I was hesitant and when I came home worn them around house. The padding at ball of foot didn't give me the cousion I needed. I did like how the arch felt.

Initial fit is good. Looking forward to breaking in a bit. Hitting the trails soon. I like the cushioned tongue and heel.
