Ryka Hydro Sport Water Training Shoe - Women's

Lace loop broke within 5 minutes the first time I wore it. Had to teach 2 classes with a broken shoe. I love every other pair of Ryka shoes I have owned previously, they have all lasted years, I only wear them when teaching classes. The ribbon lace loops are not on any of my previous shoes so I think it may just be that style I will not get again.

I have head several pairs of these shoes have recommended them to everyone in my water fitness classes. They used to last so long. The last pair I purchased lasted less than 6 months. They started failing apart inside and leaking on the outside. The sole started to break away from the show. I wore them no more than 3-4 time a week in the pool. They were always rinsed thoroughly afterwards and left to dry before using them again. I alternated between 2 pairs. These shoes are too expensive even on sale to start breaking down so quickly. I will no longet be recommending them. The quality has gone down drastically.

Disappointed with the durability. I bought 2 pairs of the hydro sport water shoes. I wore the first pair 3 times in a pool and 4 times in a lake. The material on the shoe that looks like rubber is already breaking down.

Bought these shoes for my wife who suffers with chemo induced neuropathy. She wanted to SUP again, but couldn't. These shoes fixed this for her, the pain and weirdness was temporarily made liveable when standing on the hard board. What happened next was totally unexpected. She loved the shoes, she wears them everywhere because her pain/weirdness is lessened. Plus, her words, theyre so cute. Buying another pair on the sale so when these are worn out, she has another ready to go.

Shoe lace eyelet broke! left shoe, upper eyelet loop broke! I only wore them 5 times! But I love the shoes, they are awesome

Love the overall shoe, and the upper is very durable. The sole, however, could use a bit more traction. For a shoe designed to be in aquatic areas, they are slippery on wet tile and lose what little "pool bottom" traction they have long before the rest of the shoe is ready to be retired.

I wear these to teach my Zumba classes as the traction & comfort are great! No slipping/sliding on the floor. I do have to put insoles in them because I need extra arch support for plantar fasciitis. My only complaint would be that because of all the lateral movements I do, I develop holes in the mesh where the pinky toes are. But I love these sneakers & have probably purchased these 6+ times in different colors because I love them so much. I just have to replace them regularly because of the holes & normal wear & tear.
