Ryka Effortless Mary Jane

Love my comfy new Maryjane’s from Ryka. They are the perfect shoe for travel and for an urban lifestyle that requires lots of walking. Great design, stylish and with a cushy and flexible sole. Love them!

I ordered my usual size and this style was very small. My toes were pushed against the toe area of the shoe. Cute shoe, but I would recommend sizing up a 1/2 size.

On the plus side the styling and support are great. Did not expect Echo-level support and it isn’t but still good. The strap length was fine for me, although it was extended as far as I could make it (high arch). Green color nice and neutral, nice materials. On the negative side, I didn’t notice that the heel area was not cushioned like all my other Rykas. It does rub so I can’t wear for more than a short walk. Hopefully this will stretch out, but will watch out for this in the future. Please keep up this style, it’s so nice for that in-between dressy and casual wear.

I love it!! And planning to purchase black color but its not available

I needed an athletic shoe that was a bit dressier than standard walking shoes and these are perfect. I have them in the green and the blue. Black was out of stock. I paid full price a week ago for the blue ones and now they are on sale, but they are worth it. No complaints.

The shoes have good arch support and flexibility. They have a roomy toe box so that no toe pinching. They are stylish enough for business wear, but still casual enough for leisure time. A couple of design details that I would change — the cross strap is a bit long so cannot fastened snuggly without scrapping the floor and the heel fabric needs a bit more padding because rubs against the back oh the ankle.

These Mary Janes are comfortable, and attractive. In fact, they are so sturdy and comfortable that I wear them for short walks instead of walking sneakers. They even look great with skirts and shorts. In fact, I like them so much I bought another pair of the sage green as well as a pair of the blue.
