Tight fit for a wide shoe

I have been looking hard fa wider shoe with a lot of support for the arch and ball of the foot. I wore these around my home for a while, felt good in the beginning. After walking around for 30 minutes, the narrow width for a size 11 "wide" was definitely not wide enough - there really isn't much support for the balls of my feet and I could really feel that part of my feet getting squeezed and sore.
The arch support was great but, unfortunately, it's one of the few positive aspects this shoe has going for it.
I was curious about the insole construction - very easy to remove and put back in place in the shoe. It looks and feels thin and likely to fall apart quickly. I've bought better quality insoles off the shelf with better overall support. The shoe itself without the insole has some cushion, but feels too stiff for me, even if they actually made the shoe was wide enough.
Really disappointed and planning to return them.

I LOVE these shoes. They are comfortable out of the box. In fact, I have another pair in my cart right now. I've been devoted to this Devotion line for quite a while and can't imagine wearing any other shoe for general walking and when I'm teaching.

The best way I can describe this shoe is balanced! A wonderful soft heel strike and stability mitigate any kind of foot issues that I have. I love these. This is my third pair!

I’m amazed, I have very wide feet and am between sizes. I did have to return one pair but this one fits absolutely perfect width and length. Love them!!

Great Shoe for 300lb Plus Size

I really love these shoes. This is my second pair! They are comfortable and they are very sturdy. Since I weight over 300lbs it’s good to have a stable and cushioning shoe. That is what this does for me and allows walking to be more comfortable.
