No Quality Check, DSW???

I purchased a pair of “Rustic Asphalt” boots since I have another pair from this brand that fit well. What I received was a package from DSW Returns with a busted box (no lid), and a different brand boot with scratches. It also has a purple tag on the bottom showing these were an additional percentage off in store but I paid $129 online. Was there no quality check here DSW? So disappointed.
