Huge ankle width. Did not look like photo.

I bought these hoping to find a simple ankle boot in a wide width. The thinking with boots seems to be that if v your foot is v wide your ankle is wide as well. These boots would be v great if you have swollen ankles or feet. They were way too roomy for me over the instep and around the ankle. The boots do not look like they do in the pictures. I have wide feet but I cannot find boots due to this design assumption.

I have a wide toe bed and have a difficult time finding boots that are comfortable. Ordered the wide and they are extremely comfortable, my toes have plenty of room.

Comfy insoles and outer soles, ouchy shaft!

Great looking bootie with comfy insoles and outer soles. The main problem, as another reviewer mentioned is that the stiff leather shaft digs into the shin right above the ankles with each step. This might resolve with breaking them in but combined with the sizing being off (runs large), it didn't seem worth it to keep trying. I'm wondering if these get returned a lot because I paid full price on-line and the booties I received in the mail had been tossed into a broken box with a green $69.99 sticker on the bottom; $40.00 less than the on-line price!

Completely fell apart

After owning the boots for only 1 month and wearing them about twice per week, the sole of both shoes has come off. Very disappointing

Fits a narrow foot like a dream

I love these boots. From the moment I put them on, I could wear them with no discomfit. I wear a 10.5 Narrow, so finding footwear that fits is a challenge. The deep brown color is really nice and blends well with pants in several color ranges.

I Like Them!

This boot is very comfortable. I love the rubber sole. I'm 5'8, thin side, with narrow feet. I thought this boot might look too long on my foot, but it doesn't. A pair of thick socks will take up some of the space at the top of the boot. I may purchase the black pair if they go on sale again.
