Comfortable, Elevated

Bought these to bring on vacation. I wanted a flip flop that could get wet and sandy, be comfortable to walk around in, and look a little nicer than a typical rubber flip flop. These are perfect! I’m typically a 7 but sized up to 8 in these. My foot covered too much of the sole in size 7. These looked great with everything I wore, swimsuits to sundresses. I never even wore the sandals I packed to wear with clothes, I just wore these. One sole got dented/squished in my suitcase and happily it expanded back out within a day. I love how they look and feel, and I will be wearing these all of the time.

I just received my new Reefs and they are fine. I've had these in the past in black and my normal size 7 was a little small, so since they don't sell ½ sizes, I ordered a size 8 this time. They do fit pretty well and I don't believe they are too wide but they don't look as good as the last pair I had. I haven't actually worn them out of the house yet, so that will tell how they really fit and feel. It seems like all the brands are making cheaper products now, and I am not happy with them. I also live in the Caribbean, so I ship to a freight forwarder to get my items and I am taxed by DSW and the again here plus Duty and a customs service charge and shipping, so they double in price. Also, if they don't fit, I can't return them and I am stuck with whatever I ordered. I think I need to only shop only when I travel back to the U.S. Some companies have a website that can tell when people are shipping to a freight forwarder and they do not charge tax, but too many do not have that or do not understand the process. I don't mind paying a higher price for quality, but with shoes it is really hard. I used to know which brands fit me, but these days it is hard to know. I have narrow feet and shoes that fit are getting hard to come by, so it is hard to order from so far away and expensive. I have always liked Reef, but all the plastic shoes, not so much. They make your feet sweat and sometimes they have this suction that sounds awful when you walk. Leather never did that.

I had hoped for a little bit thicker flip flop. I found them to run a little snug but may loosing up while wearing. They are not my most fav reef flip flops I own but they are ok
