    I'm pretty happy with these boots. I have a 16" wide calf and there is a little extra space around the top but it's fine and unlike other boots, I dont have to cram my jeans into them while I zip up nor do I have too much space. I'm 5'2" and the height is good. There was too much room inside the foot area. I have wide feet and bought a size 7 Wide. But I put in an insole for extra cushion and arch support and they're now perfect. I also love the heel height. It's as high as I can go without my feet starting to hurt from walking around town. I would recommend!

    Extra wide doesn’t mean extra wide calf

    I wanted to like these shoes especially since they were $135. Shaft height is different from description and is about 16.25in and for the leather part of boot that comes up more in the front than the back, the shaft height is about 17.25 in. Also, the softer stretchy part in the back isn’t just solid plain black, it has blocks similar to alligator shoes. The calf circumference I measured was about 15.25 inches. I wish extra wide actually meant the calf opening was bigger but it doesn’t. The sole doesn’t seem that comfortable to walk on during the initial try on.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
