I bought two pair in black and blue. Size 16 W because I need a wider toe box than my past shoes have. I also wear orthotic arch supports. These "wide" shoes are no wider than my old shoes. My orthotics fit snugly just as in my old shoes. I'm a senior citizen and not very flexible so the Velcro strap is a plus when putting my shoes on. My shoes have been so equipped for years now. The strap on these shoes is quite short and barely fastens. They are wearable, barely, but I can wear them. I'm torn whether to send them back or not. Be advised, if you need slightly wider than normal, you might try the extra wide because the 'wide' isn't. If you wear inserts in your shoes, the strap is short and may not work for you. I've worn this brand for years and have always been pleased. These are a disappointment.

Comfortable And Reliable
I buy these for my younger one who has special needs and is diabetic. These are easy to put on and provide that stability he needs. Highly recommend! Just wish they weren’t so expensive. Rarely go on sale too.

These were a godsend for my elderly father who requires significant assistance with putting on shoes. The way the tongue and sides of the shoe open up makes it very easy for someone else to put his shoes on. We looked for a long time to find a pair of comfortable and attractive shoes that were easy to put on and did not look like the typical "adaptive" products on the market.

Great shoes

Look and Fit Great!
Bought them for hubby and he is very happy with them! Fit well, are comfortable to have on and walk in, and the strap reaches over enough to reach the Velcro! They also look great (we bought them in black).

Seem to be good shoes
I just bought these as a Christmas present for my father-in-law and haven't given them to him yet. They appear to be well made, though, and I was thankful they carry narrows in them for men. Delivery time was pretty good, considering the way deliveries have been lately. Based on just looks, I would recommend them.

My son is happy!
I bought these for my special needs son, who is a little picky about his shoes. He wants to be more independent but he isn't able to tie his own shoes(even after years of OT). So these solved the problem.. He able to put his own shoes on and get out the door like his siblings without the drama and frustration. So, I'm happy he is feeling a little bit independent so it makes me happy with my purchase. THANK YOU DSW for offering shoes for EVERYONE :)
