Extremely uncomfortable!

These are beautiful shoes and I received compliments at the wedding I attended. However, after a few hours, my feet were throbbing and that was one of the reasons I ended up leaving the reception early. The next day I could only wear flip flops because I had so many blisters I couldn't wear anything else on my feet! I've gone to countless formal functions and I have never had this experience with shoes before, including Nina shoes. I typically wear a 6 1/2, and if necessary, buy 1/2 size up for comfort, which is what I did. It seems as though there is no give at all in the top part of the shoe so be sure they fit perfectly to avoid my experience.
