There’s probably a better option

Nicely built shoe, with exception of two things.
First sizing is wildly inconsistent when comparing to other Nike shoes. See photo of two Nike pairs side by side - A full size smaller than the others I bought for my kids and they still a too big. The length is still about 1/2” too long, but they were tight to get into. My child normally wears a 1.5-2 in shoes. Had to get a 1 in these. So they are both too big (length) and too small on elasticity to the tongue.
Next, this shoe is extremely rigid and built more like an old school style basketball shoe. We will give them a shot, but they may be too clunky for a little kid to wear. There’s not much radius to the back heel which makes my kiddo run with a stomp and slow him down. I would return them, but he wants to try to get used to them. The sole is very rigid and only flexes at a single bottom reveal they designed in.
Overall quality of the shoe seems fine.

Cool looking shoes that my kid instantly liked. They are a bit narrow and stiff but they seem to break in relatively easily.

Poor Design

I purchased these shoes because of the high ratings, but they were extremely disappointing. The velcro is weak, and my son had to constantly readjust it during his basketball game. Since the velcro opens on the inside of the shoe, his other foot kept catching it and undoing it. Poor design and a waste of money. I do not recommend this shoe.

Not comfortable for child

Bought for my boy red ones. Complains about the shoe hurting where the strap crosses the foot. He gets red marks. The shoe fits but they hurt him. The strap rubs down on the top of foot causing irritation.

bought these for my grandson and they are great. He said they are comfortable and Feel they will be good for an active 7 year old. And he said they look cool.
