Much Better Than The Original
I know the original is highly recommended for lifters but they are far too rigid for me. I do strength and hiit so I need a bit more flexibility which these give.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Very pretty but not comfortable
Most uncomfortable shoe I have purchased. Opening too tight and struggle to get on. After wearing for an hour, the shoe rubs on the bone on the outsides of my ankles causing each step to be very painful. I have never had this issue with any Nike shoe just the Metcon 6.

Shoes look really cool but don’t be fooled by the high looking sole, the sole is paper thin and these shoes are not for exercising nor for long walks. Way overpriced for a paper sole - I’ve worn them, otherwise they’d go back.

Best shoes for the gym!
Love these shoes. I have about 10 pairs of training (not running) shoes for the gym and I consistently find myself going for my Metcons. I own 4 different pairs and I will say I like the earlier models (3/4) better than these (more stability) but these are still great. I got the white/metallic silver/smoke color - the white with the black accents. Wish I had read the description better because the little speckles on the bottom are silver, not gray. But these are overall fantastic shows if you are doing any kind of strength training, box jumps, etc. I typically go between 6 and 6.5 in Nike and the 6 in this particular model of Metcon is perfect.

Size up, Run small.

Run small. Usually a 6.5 but had to exchange for a 7. Overall feel very comfortable.

Comfortable, flexible shoes!

These shoes are very comfortable and easy to move in! The color looks like a light gray in the photos but it is more white in person.

Too much material-causes pucker
This is my 5th pair of Free Metcons. I'm not sure what happened in this version, but the material tends to pucker on the outside of the shoe when tied as if there is too much material. When unboxing them, I could tell that they looked much wider than previous versions. Please bring back the 5s!!!

Favorite shoe!

Nano girl here and when I tried these shoes, I automatically became a Nike girl! I do Crossfit and the workout and weightlifting felt great. I have wide, chubby feet and these fit perfect. I’m usually a 7 and I ordered a 7 and they are true to size.
