Not the best choice in little kids

I purchased the little kid version and was disappointed. The shoe is pretty but with movement the top of the tongue protrudes in-between the laces and the strap. My daughter hates that and now refused to wear them. Just be aware of when the laces are stretchy there is no way to secure the tongue.

My son has had these in several sizes and colors over the years and they’re always our go to for back to school. The Velcro wears off eventually but they’re fantastic shoes.
