I needed a good pair of tennis shoes with the support I need for a trip to Washington DC. I knew I would be walking quite a bit. And there they were, in an email ad for Joe's New Balance. I loved the style and knew with my history with New Balance, that these would be comfortable. And, YES, they are great. My now "go to" shoes

Runs more than a little small

Mine was 2E and a half size bigger than usual and they're still a bit tight. There isn't a normal tongue. So a high instep is tight. Would have been better 4E or 1 size up for me. Very cushy.

Bad workmanship / returns

I ordered these because I am on my feet all day. The heel began falling apart after two weeks of use. I am no marathon runner or anything of the sort. I have a standing desk at my work computer and walk on a treadmill. I am assuming these are defective, but poorly made. I attempted a return but was told the sale was final as a clearance item so I inevitably threw them away. Super disappointed as I normally have great luck with Joes.
