Falling apart in one month

I purchased these shoes for my daughter for Christmas, and in less than a month they’re already falling apart. I also bought a pair of New Balance shoes for my son and experienced issues with those as well. These shoes are very cheaply made, which is extremely disappointing for a $60 shoe for a 6-year-old. I contacted customer service hoping for at least an exchange, but was told that wasn’t an option. Between the poor quality and lack of support, I won’t be purchasing New Balance again, and I won’t be shopping at DSW anymore either. I have photos but the system won't let me upload.
