Terrible

I just today had a chance to wear the shoes. Took them out of the box. Was tightening the shoe lace and one of the straps that hold the laces busted. Never been worn, just trying to tie the shoes. Terrible quality, I remember when New Balance made quality shoes.

I purchased these for my son, who recently has taken up trail walking and hiking. He normally has very sensitive feet, but has little or no pain after wearing these for hours.

Great shoes for a great price. I was looking for something versatile that wasn't too flashy for my son, and these are perfect. They feel sturdy and well-made. Plus, the $69 price point is hard to beat for New Balance quality. Highly recommend!

Terrible! Most Uncomfortable Shoes I've Ever Worn!

These were terrible shoes, easily the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn in my life. They felt like I was putting my feet on wood boxes. DSW was great though, I returned them immediately to a local store and ended up getting another pair of shoes there that i absolutely love!

First pair of new balance i had to throw out.

I bought two pair of these in 14 2E while on sale. When they arrived i did try them on and they felt OK, so I went ahead and keep them. Fast forward a few months later when I was in need of some new work shoes, I finally tried them out for 11 hour long work days. They are unbearable. They are far too tight for a wide size. They are also rock hard. The pair I've been trying to wear for the past 3 weeks went in the trash today and the remaining new will be donated. These are by far the worst new balance shoe I have ever worn.
