Bought these for a holiday black tie event for my husband. He found these shoes to be very comfortable the whole evening without needing to break them in. They are shiny so go well for a black tie event.

Sturdy and stylish dress shoe
These were a gift and my recipient thought they were a very sturdy and stylish dress shoe. He wears a regular 8.5 and needed shoes for a formal event. He said the patent leather was a nice touch in elevating the overall look of the shoe and appreciated the waxed laces which stayed securely tied and didn't come undone while walking and dancing. He loved the cushioned footbed which was an unexpected surprise since most dress shoes don't have this feature. He was also grateful the synthetic soles had enough traction that they didn't slip on the dance floor or on steps. Overall, he really liked this shoe and it is now one of his favorites.
