Cute But Bottoms Are Sloughing/shredding Off

I really liked these shoes because they are cute and versatile. However, I kept thinking I was picking up pieces of carpet until I noticed the bottoms were shredding. It happened when I was at a doctor appointment and it was a little embarrassing that I brought a piece of carpet with me! Nope, just the shoes shredding. That should never happen!!

The footbed is cushioned and comfortable. The sole is shedding some fuzziness with wear but not really a problem.

Soles Are Shredding Off

This is my first time buying this brand. I bought these sandals less than a week ago and worn them a few times. The bottoms of both are completely shredding. Is this normal?

I was so excited to find these. I had them before but forgot where I bought them. People would ask me where I bought them. May have been years ago. Anyway, glad you are selling this particular style. Please keep them in stock and I will pas the word that I bought them at the DSW in Cupertino. Hope you sell them in all you stores. fyi - they would be a HUGH hit in Boulder, CO. Great sandals. They run large: I’m a size 9 in a shoe, but with these I actually wear a size 7. The leather ones will stretch, but the cloth will not stretch.
