low top version of the boot. no break in needed. true to size. super high quality. leather a plus. a little bulky with aggressive tread, but I like that especially for the season in-between winter and spring.

Hubby bought these to replace sneakers for work. He says these Merrell Speed Strike 2 Hiking Shoes are very comfortable for being on his feet all day. In fact, he wanted me to get him a second pair, but DSW didn't have them in stock so he got a similar pair of Merrells. It's a very good brand and DSW pricing is great, especially with their promotions.
