If your pants 👖 are long enough, no one 🕐 will know 🙀 the difference. Light 🕯️ weight 💪🐯, bouncy. They don't claim to be 💦🌊 waterproof. More comfy on sidewalks than the Moab 3. ( Let's be honest, 99 percent of hiking 🥾 shoes mileage is done on sidewalks, and in 🏪 stores and malls 👌🤣) ‼️

Too wide

I purchased a women’s size 9 1/2- my normal size. These shoes are ridiculously wide. Even if I were to size down then they would be to short. Definitely designed with a man’s foot in mind (width). I love the look of these hiking shoes though. I put on some heavy socks and they are doable. I planned on wearing these on warm months so with the heavy socks not happy about that. i will keep them. Just wish that these would have been designed for men and then made some that were specifically designed for women. Merrell ‘s need to keep in mind that there is a significant difference in the widths with men and women.

I want to love these, but sizing is tricky.

First off, they do look great, and I'm happy to have them. The leather and metal D-rings give the upper the look of a premium boot while the cushioning system keeps these light and comfy. However, sizing has been a challenge for me. I started with my true size and felt that they were way too wide and overall felt loose on my foot. They felt relatively comfortable and the length felt correct, but I couldn't get the right amount of lockdown. I exchanged for a half size down, and while the width is improved, the length is now shorter than I would prefer. I think I would recommend going true to size on these and wearing extra thick socks or changing to a thicker insole. I'm not unhappy with mine at 0.5 down, but I think some volume adjustments need to be made for most wearers.

Great comfortable and stylish shoes. Just a bit on the wider side so have to wear thick socks, nothing too major. Absolutely Fantastic overall.
