Merrell Encore Ice 5 Slip-On

My last pair of these, which I wear all winter, were looking worn after at least ten years of use. I was delighted to see that they are still being manufactured, so I ordered a black pair and a brown pair.

Eight years ago I ordered two pairs of these and the second pair bit the dust recently. So I ordered these to replace them and am extremely disappointed over the quality difference, especially the interior of the shoe which is skimpy, not as cushioned or comfortable as before. Congratulations on ruining a great shoe.

I don’t know how much I’ll like them yet, since it’s been too warm here to wear them. They seem to fit well.

this is my third pair of these shoes and I love them. I needed an easy pair of shoes to slip on and off in order to bring the dog out on a regular basis as well as walk her.

This is the first Merrell shoe I have not been happy with. After very light use, you can see the fur trim has already rubbed off. While these shoes are not uncomfortable, they are not the most comfortable either. Minimal arch support and they feel flimsy on my feet. I have been buying Vionic and Naot and been very happy with them. They get a lot of great reviews, but I am not a huge fan.

Encore Ice 5 Last year I purchased my first pair of these shoes. They come in wide width and are so comfortable. This year I purchased the brown, and then I ordered the black. Looking forward to purchasing another pair in the Fall. I hope that they will offer them in a maroon and also a dark green. Nice Fall color's.

I like the way they fit like a warm hug and stay put. Comfortable and easy to wear all day.

Bought these in black. Wear them a lot. Very comfortable. Fine in the snow or the ice.
