This are the perfect upgrade to the two pairs of Merrell casual runners I've been happy with for a few years. It has a roomy toe box, nicely padded tongue, and surprisingly good arch support, so no need to buy those separately. The construction is supportive and durable, the sole is grippy, and the styling isn't garish. It's an ideal all-arounder which just happens to be a hiking shoe. Excellent!

These shoes are great. As a FedEx driver, I searched forever for shoes that were comfortable and durable enough. This brand is the way to go for the best of both worlds that don't break to be bank. At about 7 miles per day, these get more than their money's worth.
