Love this bootie for fall crop pants. Very comfortable. I usually wear size 8 and feel Life Stride runs slightly big so I sometimes have to size down 1/2 size. I like these booties in an 8 since then I have room for some low socks.

Wrong Color

I returned these shoes simply because while DSW lists it as grey, LifeStride says the color is doe. Very sad because I've always liked LifeStride shoes for their comfort. I'm looking for grey, not doe color. They weren't carried in the store so I had to order them online. Then the manager at the store tried to argue with me about the color. Sad.

I was very excited about these when I first put them on. I love the style and the color, and they are very comfortable. You know there’s a ‘but’ coming, and here it is - I wore them once, on an outing that required very minimal walking, and it was enough to wear them out. The soles are completely rubbed off and the heel on one of them is breaking. At one point I remember one of my ankles giving and I almost stumbled, and now after seeing the actual chip in the heel, I understand why. I bought these trusting that they would be a solid purchase because I’ve heard good things about this brand, but there is nothing solid about this boot. I mean the shoe is coming unglued from the sole. If you’re considering this boot, I advise you to save your money for something that is made better.
