Curly flowers
I bought these online. They were very cute in person. My issue is that the flowers were not cut thickly enough and this causes them to curl. This causes two issues. The primary one caused me to return them--at least one flower on each foot curled so that they were scratchy/itchy on my feet. There's a chance that since they are leather shoes, I could have used water, etc. to get them to behave the way I wanted them to but wasn't willing to risk damaging the shoes and then not being able to return them. I don't experiment with $100+ sandals. The other issue is aesthetic. The bottom of the leather is raw (of course) so if you're buying these shoes because they are cute (likely) then some if not all of the flowers will start curl up over time, making them much less attractive. Usually leather does this with decorations if it's too thin or cut in the wrong way. Don't know what the issue is here, but there was a definite difference between flowers and some were already curling when I tried them on. You may also get lucky and get a pair that the flowers were consistently well cut out of the leather, and will have no problems. But that was not my experience. I did return this pair. Returns in store are super easy and I appreciate that.
