Great all around shoe

I am pleased with the shoe as it has enough support to work all day or go to the gym. It’s very sturdy shoe with all the flexibility and comfort rolled into one. Thank Keen and team sincerely Susan

I feel like I have my old Keens back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to love Keens running/hiking shoes! Any time I bought a pair I could step right in and wear them forever. And then something happened. . . They took a reliable fit and changed it - and not for the better for me. Too narrow. I got to the point I wouldn't buy or even look at their shoes. Recently I tried once more and noticed there was a description for "original fit. " And even better I could try them for 30 days, even wearing them outside. (How often do you buy a shoe, seems to fit and then after a lengthy hike you realize it's not a good fit at all?) These shoes fit well, feel good, and I am ecstatic. Thank you Keen for listening to all of us that were so disappointed in you.

Comfortable and stylish

These running shoes have good support and a wide toe box that I need! The arch support is adequate and you can add your own orthotics!

A decent trail running shoe
I tested these shoes across multiple trail runs ranging from 5K to 15K, on packed dirt, loose rock, and sand. Right out of the box, they look and feel more like a road running shoe than a true trail shoe, with some added traction thrown in.
On the trail, the lack of ankle support was noticeable for me, particularly on loose rock and sand. The soles are also quite stiff, which made it hard to maintain a natural gait. As someone who typically runs in zero or low drop shoes, this was one of my bigger frustrations with them. The toe box runs narrow, which wasn't an issue early in a run but became uncomfortable as my feet swelled in the heat (mid-80s to low-90s here in the Midwest). By the end of longer runs, the fit felt noticeably tighter. The materials overall feel a bit cheap for the price point.
On the positive side, the mesh uppers are genuinely breathable, which is a real plus for hot weather training. If you're an experienced trail runner, you'll probably want to look elsewhere. But if you're newer to trails and want something that bridges the gap between road and trail without feeling totally foreign, these could work as a starting point. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
