Keen Targhee IV Vented Hiking Shoe - Men's

This is my sixth pair of Keen Targhee shoes. This is the first time I have ordered them online because I know my size and Keens just always fit right. The are comfortable except the soul feels different, feels like the soul is the shape of my foot and any wiggle makes it feel as if I'm off to the side or on the edge of the soul. I haven't pulled the soul out to see what's underneath yet and in time I may get used to it, its just a different feel than normal. Overall my experience with Keen shoes is exceptional, even have steel toe works shoes I'm wearing now.

As with all the shoes I've bought here these were ready to go out of the package. comfortable all day long also, no matter what I'm doing.

I have had every version of the Targhee and have been really happy with the II's and the III's. I wanted a vented version for summer hot hikes. . . I thought I would try these. . they are terrible. . the rubber sole doesn't feel good walking. I compared weight between my III's in size 45 and these in 44. 5 and the IV weigh 200 grams more for the pair. wish Keen would go back to making the vented in other versions of the Targhee. I do 5-12 mile hikes 3 or 4 times a week and these won't cut it. I wish I would have seen the negative reviews before buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been wearing Keens for 20 plus years and after a few weeks of wearing these, they appear to be the best quality shoe Keen has made. Time will tell if the quality is in fact Superior but I predict they will hold up for ten years or more. As always with Keen, the shoes have plenty of width/wiggle room in the standard width which I like. Great looking shoe too with endless compliments.

These are great. I work in the field as an HVAC contractor in Florida. I recently had 2 pairs back to back of the Atlanta cool 2 but they weren’t in stock so I got the tar ghee 4 vented. So far they’ve been great. Very comfortable right out of the box. The whole shoe looks to be very durable. They seem to be about 1/2 size bigger but they fit good. My feet get really hot when I’m on the job working in attics or on rooftops and you can really feel the air coming through. I highly recommend.

Still breaking them in but so far they're just as comfortable as all of my other Keen shoes

I have only wore these for a couple miles but they have so far been very comfortable. I did change out the insoles because I have a high arch but overall comfort has been great and they are fairly lite too. I look forward to to getting out on the trails to see how they hold up after a full day of hiking. They do seem to run a little bigger than advertised size so keep that in mind. I have owned several KEEN products and they are a overall a very good product and I recommend to give them a try and you may be surprised at how good the quality is with this company.

Love Keens but bummed this version of the Target runs so big. This is my 4th pair of Targhees and I wanted to love them but bummed I had to return them.
