Keen Hightrail Hiking Shoe - Men's

I ordered these in a 10 wide which is my normal size. I’ve had several Keen work boots that have been very comfortable and fit perfectly. I thought these shoes would represent past Keen experiences. This is the worst shoe I’ve ever worn. Too tight, poor soles- extremely uncomfortable. Maybe because they are made in Vietnam?? Not sure but never again Keen. You’ve lost me as a customer. Incredibly disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent quality shoe that comes in Wide, which makes for the perfect fit for me. I've worn these shoes on hikes right out of the box with now issues and also wear them as an every day shoe because they are very comfortable - and waterproof to boot. I purchased them as a second shoe to go with my Keen Targee Apex, which is another shoe that gave me the option to purchase in Wide and are also extremely comfortable right out of the box. We are going to spend 3 weeks in Scandinavia = from Helsinki to Copenhagen with several days in Norway cruising the Fjords and hiking in the mountains, so waterproof hiking shoes were a must and I'm looking forward to using both these shoes.

When you can put a new pair of shoes on, out of the box, and walk 5 miles with no discomfort, that's a great shoe.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have wide feet and have worn Keens on Kilimanjaro, in the Andes, Rockies and Sierra Nevada, and worn out many pairs on local trails. This year, I bought a pair of these wide Hightrail shoes for a touristy trip to Switzerland and Italy. They were stylish and looked great, even on Lake Como! My adult children commented on how contemporary the are. I liked them so much, I got home and ordered the boots too. So c'mon, make an old guy happy and provide a wide version of these shoes in a black or gray color schemes. They would be perfect for travel and everyday wear. I'll ditch my New Balance shoes for good if you do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I hike about 8 miles a day on average, pavement and dirt. I have three pairs of these and they hold up well no issues whatsoever. It would be nice if they were offered in a darker color so they didn’t show the dirt as much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lemme start by saying I’ve been rocking Keens for years and years for both work and play. These are the first real “sneakers” (soft toe, all fabric, no “safety”) I’ve purchased and they’re comfortable as heck. The asterisk is that, even though the size I wear is a 14 Wide, I wish I had gone a half or a full size up. They’re not really true to size like every leather or safety toe Keen I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had dozens and dozens). Little narrow, little tight.

Good pavement show but 100 percent will have multiple pebbles in your shoe by the end of your trail hike

Love the shoe but I wish it came in a darker color. The Brindle/Birch is a light color and shows the dirt.
