Cute Shoe But Heel Area Feels Shallow

I was excited for these shoes, but when I tried them on the back heel area feels shallow, if that makes sense. It feels like my heel is going to slip out every time I take a step. Since I value practicality over style, I’d rather get a shoe that doesn’t feel like it’s going to come off of my heel with every step.

The shoes fit, but there is something on the inside top that rubs against my foot on one of the shoes. Very uncomfortable. I will have to return them.
