Classic Brand

Jansport has been around since I don’t know when. I used them back when I was in school in the 90’s. My daughter needed a replacement and she wanted a black one. The only thing I would complained about is that the side pocket is partial mesh. I can’t stand mesh pockets because they eventually tear. My daughter is happy with it.

Quality downhill

I bought this bag a couple of months ago and it already as a huge tear in the side. I am not rough with my bags. Jansport quality has gone downhill - I noticed this when the bag arrived. It doesn't feel as sturdy as the one my husband owns that is 30 years old without one rip in it. This bag didn't make it half a year. I would suggest another brand or retailer even as DSW will not assist you with a return or exchange for a defective item.
