Warm for winter

I was looking for winter boots and came across these. They are super warm. Perfect for walking in snow. Only thing is they are a bit on the heavy side.

I love these boots! It finally snowed here in Colorado so I got to test them out today. I wasn't sure if they'd keep my feet warm in actual winter temps, even though they're lined. They do.
With other Hunter boots I've tried on, I know they sometimes run really small. I'm a 7.5 but ordered a 9. I maybe could have gotten away with an 8 in this style but I swapped out the insert with genuine shearling ones and wore thick socks to take up space and I think 9 works for me (I like a little extra room in my shoes for my long toes.)
I wasn't planning on keeping them and just wanted to try them in case they ever go on sale -- a little more expensive than I would like. Ooops
My one complaint is that I wish the faux fur lining were brown to match the boot. Being white, it really highlights the fact that its faux, Imo. I might try to dye it...
