It’s looks over comfort with this boot. Used on short hikes in UT / AZ where I’d have traded for comfort over looks.

Not that comfortable, I’ll add an inner sole before wearing again. Wore on short hike fairly flat terrain- dirt/ rock/ sand a trail running shoe would have been better for. These will be great for winter.

Waterproof and arch support.

Really wasn't looking for boots as I had already purchased some Merrell's MOAB. But, in trying on these, they were just as comfy, WATERPROOF and had incredible arch support. Their clearance price made it a no brainer so now I have 2 pairs-Merrells' for Mt. hiking, Hi Tech for walks and light hikes in wet weather.

I bought these boots to explore Barrow, AK and the Arctic Ocean. They were truly warm and waterproof while I was trekking through frozen snow and slush. It was easy to clean them the next day to continue the Alaska adventure.
