Franco Sarto Clemens Espadrille Wedge Sandal

The worst shoes I’ve ever owned. I can’t even walk one block in them without severe pain. They also caused a large open wound on the back of my foot. Unfortunately, I bought two pairs in different colors because I expected them to be comfortable. They were very expensive, and now I can’t wear them or return them. A complete waste of money.

I absolutely love the style of these shoes, and they are incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately, my experience with their durability has been very disappointing. The first pair I purchased seemed fine at first, but while walking one day, I felt something was off. When I looked down, I was shocked—and honestly embarrassed—to see that the heel was separating from the shoe. Since I was wearing a short dress, it was especially noticeable. It appeared that the adhesive had failed, causing the shoe to come apart. I assumed it was just a manufacturing defect and decided to give them another chance by purchasing a second pair. Thankfully, I noticed a similar issue while heading out the door. After wearing the replacement pair only twice, both shoes were already coming loose in the same way. While I genuinely love the look and comfort of these shoes, two pairs failing so quickly makes it difficult for me to recommend them. The quality simply hasn't matched the design.

These are beautiful and the look great on. However, they’re stiff and pull hard against the ankle when you walk. Unfortunately, returning.

These are my favorite wedges. They are great with almost everything I wear. I like them so much, bought another pair in brown. They fit well and the Velcro buckle is adjustable for long days on my feet.

I had been looking for an espadrille wedge that would go with anything, and these fit the bill perfectly. I wear a size 6 in most shoes, but after reading other reviews stating these ran tight/short, I ordered 4 different sizes (6M, 6W, 6.5M, and 6.5W), and ended up keeping the 6.5M, so I would agree that these run a little small. I find these sandals comfortable and fairly easy to walk in, and I love that the stripes/colors are not perfectly symmetrical - I think it adds character to the sandal. I love these sandals and expect to get a lot of wear out of them.
