Chic sandal, weird sizing

Got this on sale and I really wanted it to work. The shoe is so comfy and soft. The size was very off. I usually wear a 8.5 to 9 normal width but purchased this in 9 wide...my foot was floating in the shoe :(.... I might try to repurchase a size 8 but I'm not sure how it will fit.

These were swimming on my feet and I got the proper size. No way to adjust the width which was the problem. I had to return them because there wasn’t a solution that I could see

Bought these to wear to a wedding. I ordered a W even though I usually am a M because I wanted them to be comfortable no matter how long I was on my feet. It worked I wore them for about 6 hours straight and not a peep out of my feet. Very comfortable and stylish. The heel isn't too high and it's blocky so very stable, even on uneven ground. Highly recommend.
