The brand of shoe runs big. I bought a pair of a different style in my regular size and they were big, so I added thick insoles, which made them fit better. I bought this pair in a size smaller, but they were tight. Not sure if they came in half sizes in the size I would need, but would have been a perfect fit.

Comfortable but not well-made

I loved wearing these but after only a few months, the heels started peeling and disintegrating. It looks like a dog has been chewing on my heels but I don’t own one.

wide heel

These are pretty comfortable. However, the heel is wide for those of us who have long slender feet. I tried to put heel pads in, but they still slip off. Would probably have double up my socks. Another failed online purchase... I had already worn them once without heel pads and thus, was not able to return them

It is hard to find a classic loafer that checks off all of our preferences. Their is medium arch support in this shoe and the leather is thin. It would be nice if the heal were 1/4" higher just to give it a bit more lift. The uncomplicated classic design is attractive. It is a roomy loafer; therefore the need for a slightly firmer leather.
