Not My Size

I don’t know why it is so difficult to find exact size on an expensive shoe. I must have 12.5 wide.
It should not be that hard to get the size I need.

Be Careful Aboiut the Size

These shoes are well but be careful about the size. I purchased these shoes a few months back in brown. I liked them so much I recently ordered another pair in black since DSW was running a nice special. When I got this pair I was disappointed since these did not fit. I specified W for width but I believe the shoes I received were a medium even the though the box stated wide. They were tight and uncomfortable. I returned the shoes. The promotion I used to make the is no longer valid. Disappointed.

Solid, nice-looking shoes

I wasn't familiar with this brand (and it's higher cost), but I purchased in black based on their appearance. As others have noted, they do require a break-in period since they are a bit heavy and stiff (I did have some ankle discomfort after 1st wearing). I like the stitching and lacing system, laces are slightly short IMO. These are made in China.

Heavy shoes, but beyond comfortable

I cannot recommend these for long day hikes, because they’re the heaviest shoes that I own, except for my mid-boots, which are solid leather. That being stated, these are the most comfortable shoes that I own, and the double soles shine, as does the roomy toe box, but there is a break on period for sure. A solid everyday shoe that can handle trails, but not my preference for backcountry expeditions.

I bought this a month ago. I’m hard to fit but these fit very well and comfortable. I particularly like the adjustable foot bed! Genius!

Well made shoe

Well made shoe. I use them at work and they hold up to a 10 hour shift. Been thru a rain storm in them and my feet were dry.
