Really Cute!

Very Cute, there is a learning curve to walking in them, or at least for me, I guess I am not used to walking in platform shoes. I found them comfortable to walk in for short distances. I wore them to work, which is a sit down office job, so I can't really say if it is good for a a lot of walking. I am usually a 9 wide in shoes, and I purchased the 9, and it was still a bit big, so if you don't have wide feet I would size down.

Cute, but can't handle daily use, apparently.

They're so cute, but mine didn't last at all. I also had to size down TWICE. My other docs have lasted through theme park jobs with 20k+ daily steps, working on trains, and restaurants. These were the shoes I was using daily for my office job, and they're crumbling in 3 months.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I’ve been wearing this brand for 30 years and it never fails. Previous Mary Jane styles ran their course so I was excited to find this with the adorable little flower buckle.
As a youngster I wore a UK 5, but after 40+ years of working on my feet, having kids and developing osteoarthritis, I got a UK 6 as I have an all my other Dr Martens, and this pair of shoes fits like a glove right out of the box. It goes without saying that Dr Martens are heavy, some more than others, and especially this platform shoe. I’m used to that, but others might find it uncomfortable. No disrespect to those who have commented that this shoe runs large. Perhaps there was confusion between the UK and US sizing because, in the case of my size, I wear a UK 6, EU 39 and US 8. So, I am not experiencing the shoe to run large like others have mentioned. I have always had a routine with breaking in the shoes and for the first 8 to 10 times I wear them I only walk heavily in them for about an hour before I switch back to other shoes. By the 10th or 11th time the shoes are softened, the hill counter is broken in and I fall in love with a new pair of Dr Marten shoes.

Cute but running large

They are on the heavier side and run a bit large on me. I normally wear a 7.5 and since docs don't have half size, I decided on the 7. Even though I sized down, they became a bit loose after several wears, but this is understandable since they were made of leader, which do tend to stretch. They are very cute and can easily pair with a lot of outfits.

This is my first pair of Doc Martens--they look edgy and cool--they're heavy but comfortable. They do run big--I usually wear an 11--could wear 10.5 sometimes but that size is almost non-existent--had to return the 11 in these for the 10. They do move up and down the back of my foot as I walk--similar to a closed back dansko clog. I got a really good deal on this since this style is going away.
