Shoes that are stylish and comfortable

I bought a year ago and extremely happy that I did. I have a hard time buying shoes for my wide feet.
Dr. Martens are round toe, good arch support,zippers galore for older people. I am 64 years old and LOOOOVE them. Now, plenty of seniors wear them...Whoopi, Chris Rock, Madonna . My older, friends have bought them. These shoes are comfort with style!

I have very difficult feet. They are not exactly the same size. My right seems a little larger. These are very comfy on both feet ad are so cute.

Love the zippers!

Love the style of this boot, but will definitely take some time to break them in. Doc's are known to be uncomfortable when they are new so I am hoping the stiffness will relax after a few months. Other than that they should last a really long time!

Really Wanted To Love These

I saw these in store and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. I have 3 other pairs of docs in size 8 (sucks there are no half sizes) and they all fit perfect—except for these. They are very stiff and extremely tight and uncomfortable along the top, just underneath the base of the zipper. I don’t have wide feet but there’s a stitched seam along the top that digs down into the top of your foot and make walking in them nearly impossible. I thought I could stretch them a bit with some shoe stretchers but no dice. I really hate to let go of them and I feel a 9 would be too big in the toe area. Not sure if I will return them or try other means of stretching. Huge bummer because I still absolutely LOVE the look of these. I would highly suggest trying them on in store before purchasing. Buy at your own risk!

Surprisingly comfortable

I have a few friends who've bought dr Martins before and have complained about blistering and uncomfortableness of these boots, so I was a little apprehensive to try these out, but I've been pleasantly surprised! I have not had blistering or abrasions from these boots, though I did buy these in size bigger than I usually would to try to prevent issues (I usually buy size 9 but I bought size 10 for this).
The reason why I can't give them a perfect 5 stars is because the boots are not very flexible, even after wearing them out regularly for a few weeks now. I have to give my feet breaks after a few days because otherwise these boots give me cramps in my legs (–something about the foot not bending/extending properly in the boot while you walk). It's not a deal breaker for me nor are the cramps painful, just mildly uncomfortable and inconvenient.

Super cute and Comfy. Hard to get on. Took a couple times to figure out the best way to manipulate the zippers. More comfortable and flexible than other pairs of Docs.
