This was my first purchase of Doc Martens, and I was disappointed. While this is a cute style, the platform makes them very heavy. They have been difficult to break in. After wearing them all day, my legs are tired. I wanted to live these, but I can’t.

These were cute and love the platform style but it just didn't go well with me. I fit a big kids size 5Y and I think the zipper on the side works for me vs the adult Docs dont have them. I wish all docs has the zipper on the size. It's super helpful.

Absolutely adorable boot. My only complaint is that the sole of this shoe was way too heavy for me when walking. I wasn’t expecting that. I ended up returning them.

I tried so hard to make these work. They are adorable. I am a true size 6. I do not have a wide foot. I ordered both the size 3 and 4. The size 3 was slightly uncomfortable in the toe and the 6 was huge. Tried with a thicker sock and insert but they looked clownish and I couldn’t walk comfortably. My husband said they made me look like Frankenstein because I just clomped around. Needless to say, returned them both. So upset because they look so cute on other people.

I love them with all my heart. They're heavy, the leather is real soft, the laces are sturdy, the platform is Thicc. I got a size up (10>11) so i wouldn't have to break them in and I'm glad i did. Get the leather balm and these will look brand new no matter what.

I love the look of these boots. So much I ordered them twice because they run large! I ordered my true size first, 9, and it was very large. I reordered the 8 and even though that is a full size smaller than I normally wear they fit great. It will take awhile to wear them in but they will go with socks many looks!

I'm a huge Dr. Marten fan, and already own the Leona, Shriver and Jadon styles. I normally wear a size 6 in shoes, but purchase a size 5 in DM's for a better fit and wear thin socks -- the Leona and Shriver styles fit perfect, but in Jadon my toes go pretty close to the end, (but I think sizing up would be too big.) Like the Jadon, in this shoe, Molly, my toes are almost right at the end, but that isn't what bothered me. Since this style is more of a shiny patent leather material, it's thinner at the top, but stiffer in other places (the tongue was very "wrinkled" bc of the material). I've never had a problem with the fit of any other style, but in this shoe, the top was so tight across the bridge of my foot, they would have been unbearable to wear for long periods of time. It wasn't worth taking them to a shoe repair place to have them stretched, and since I already own 3 pairs of DM's, I decided to return these. Definitely a bummer, because I absolutely love the high platform and grungey style. It's possible it was just bad luck and the pair I received fit poorly. I'd consider going to the store to try these on.

Super cute! Docs are typically shallow in the inside, not much support. But considering that these are still quite comfortable. I do wear hiking socks with my Docs( that may be the reason they are comfortable)

I have a few pairs of Dr. Martens (boots & sandals). They are comfortable, worth it when you can get on sale and rewards. Great to wear with jeans, trousers, casual dresses. I am a size 6.5 and I usually buy size 6. It would be good if they made half sizes.

They look wonderful, they aren't that heavy, and they are supple enough that breaking them in isn't bad at all. The problem for me is that the lack of half sizes makes one size super uncomfortably tight and one size up is far too loose. So there will always have to be thick socks even in the summer, and maybe even an insole once I have them broken in.

My 1st pair of Doc’s & im in loveeee. Of course they need breaking into & GET YOUR TRUE SIZE!! If i would’ve sized down like everyone else said, they would’ve been tight as ever! I wear a 4.5 in kids, so a 6 in woman's fit perfect! A little loose ofc but i have a fat foot too lol & ima wear thick socks. The tongue did come a little wrinkled, im guessing due to packaging but they’re still cute. I love the ribbon laces & they do come with other laces as well. Im excited to break these in, sooo BUY!!

Well...I finally bit the bullet and decided to purchase the "Molly" boot after having it saved in my wishlist for about 2 weeks. My major hesitation was due to the varying reviews about the fit of this boot. Since these do not come in half sizes (and I've never purchased Doc Martens before), I was truly torn as to what size to order because I am a pretty solid size 10M in mostly all of my boots. However, everyone seems to say that these are heavy, clunky and run big. I can definitely testify that these are wide!! The toe box is very wide and the fit on me is quite loose. I know that I will need to wear very thick socks and possibly use an insert or orthotic. I also have flat feet. I am scared to get the size 9M because I know that my toes will probably be pushed up right at the front of the shoe. I know that leather stretches, but I didn't want to take the chance and start out with tight shoes that are killing my feet straight out the box. I tried these on with a trouser sock in the store, so I am hoping that a thicker sock will compensate for how spacious the boot is. These are VERY CUTE boots and look the same in person as they do on-line. Personally, I think you should order your true boot size. I thought that these came with regular laces, as well as the ribbon laces, but I only received the ribbons.

I got these a couple weeks ago and I love them. Only issue is they run big. Got an 8 because that was all they had and I’m a true size 8. I would def size down. I’m keeping them but I bought shoe fillers
