Pretty and comfortable

These loafers are both pretty and comfortable. They fit "just right," which surprised me a bit because I intentionally "size up" when I order shoes (better a bit too loose than a bit too tight), so others may want to "size up," too, to be on the safe side.

WAAAAAAY TO SMALL

I read the reviews but they were mixed so I went ahead and bought these shoes. They weren't just a little small, I couldn't even get my foot in them. It had to be like an entire size too small. Buy them at your own peril but definitely size UP!!!!!

The fit and styling of Donald Pliner shoes is always excellent . I decided to exchange these for the suede version. The patent leather was a bit too much for me.

Runs half size bigger, Patent is plastic.

I love the styling of this loafer. However, the upper is a mix of real leather and synthetic material. After inspecting them, I can see that the patent/shiny material is synthetic, everything else is leather. So, in a couple years the patent will start to peel and look terrible while the leather will continue to look great. I wanted to get real leather for the quality so it'll last for years. So I'm disappointed that they didn't choose to also use patent leather as well. Also, I have normal/slightly narrow feet, usually I'm 7.5, but these are larger. So I think a 7 would've been perfect.
