I’m very disappointed with the over all quality as well as the appearance of the boot, as one of the other reviews mentioned it looks like a cheap copy of the boot pictured. The leather is clearly painted with some sort of matte finish that leaves it looking like pleather despite the supposed quality. They do run small as well with a very uncomfortable toe box, not to mention the boots itself doesn’t sit flush to the floor meaning there’s an uncomfortable rocking with each step like standing on a see saw.

Does NOT Look Like the Pictures
I was so excited for these shoes when I ordered them and I justified the high price by using rewards and hoping that they would be perfect for what I was looking for. However, when they arrived I was so disappointed. Not only do they run small (which is an easily resolvable issue) they looked like a cheap dupe of the ones online. The beautiful rich leather was a fake, uglier version. Long story short, if you buy these you will be disappointed. I returned them immediately.

Beautiful color and construction
The shoes are great quality and the cherry red looks amazing. I will say, they do seem to run a tad bit small. I wear a size 8M in other shoes but I typically take 8.5 in boots to accommodate thicker socks. I went with 8.5 in these boots and they fit perfectly with regular socks (more like an 8). It’s doesn’t bother me enough to exchange, but keep in mind you may want to size up by at least half, depending on your sock preference. Overall I’m really happy I picked these up. Based on wearing around the house, they are comfortable and easy to walk in. I anticipate I will get my moneys worth with these.

I ordered nearly 10 pairs of boots from a range of stores with specific criteria in mind. Leather, over the ankle, block heel, and platform. After testing out a range of styles for comfort, these are the boots I ended up choosing and I'm so glad I did!!! The square toe gets lots of compliments, looks good with dresses and pants, can be dressed up or down, and was fairly comfortable for all-day walking & standing in NYC streets. The heel footing feels a bit strange at first, but I think it added to the comfort. Only con, almost to be expected, is that prolonged skin to boot contact wore down on my shin after a few days if the socks I was wearing weren't thick enough.

Love The Red And The Style
I am 4” 11.5 inches tall and 152 lbs. I bought these to wear with red dresses instead of pumps or stilettos. I love the boot shaft height (6.75). It’s perfect for those dresses that are right above the knee or right on the knee. However, they fit like a size 6. I bought a 6.5. I can’t zip them all the way up the leg opening (10.75) is pretty narrow for my current weight. Who knew I would gain weight in my calves… Lol. They probably will zip all the way up at a lower weight. Needless to say, I love them so much to where I’m keeping them. At some point I’ll drop the extra weight and they will zip all the way.
