Comfortiva Cordia Combat Boot

I'm surprised most of the other reviews say these fit true to size. I'm a solid 6 / Euro 36 and ordered the 6. I could barely squeeze my feet into them! I double-checked the Euro sizing on the box and it said 36.5. Normally, that would be a bit big on me. Strange! I've exchanged for a 7, which is on its way. Fingers crossed they fit, because they are adorable.

Just a heads-up, these boots run really large. In regular shoes and some other brand boots I wear size 10. They don't carry these in any stores within 100 miles of my area and unfortunately unless you pay upfront they won't order them for you, whether it be online or in the store. I start off with this because I used to have a pair of these years ago and I absolutely loved them and have been wanting to replace them every year but by the time I check their site they're sold out of my size. Since I had to pay first anyway I went ahead and ordered them online in a size 10. They turned out to be too big so I had to once again pay for a smaller size. I know I could've returned them first but that would've meant waiting until received the return, then I would've had to wait for the credit to be applied to my account. I bit the bullet and ordered size 9.5. They're still too big! There isn't much difference between the two sizes! So now I have two pairs of boots that need to be returned that I'm going to have to drive out of my way to return. What's even worse... they don't have any size 9 left in stock, which is the main reason I didn't want to wait for the return to be credited to my account. I should mention that what made this experience was the delivery service they use taking their time in getting both pairs of boots to me saying they attempted deliveries multiple times when in fact I was home every time and they never came. The shoes are great... DSW is a nightmare to deal with. If they don't carry a particular shoe that you want to purchase in their store you should be able to order different sizes of that shoe to be delivered to their store so you can try them on before you have to pay for them. This has been a waste of a of money for me that I don't have. To still not be able to get the shoes I love for at least another year because they're out of stock in my size is just heartbreaking.

Bought these boots in August and thought they were great, super comfy, etc. Then a couple days ago, I was putting them on and the leather on one of them ripped. Ripped! Not even along a seam! I have never had a pair of shoes rip on me, especially not after paying $150 for them. I'll never buy this brand again. Don't waste your money.

I ordered this boot online, size 9 in green. It's a beautiful boot. The leather is extremely soft and thin, like kid skin, like the soft kid skin gloves you find at an antique store. These could be instantly worn out of box. The toe box is narrow and pointy and not enough room for a wide toe box. The heel is a good fit for a medium size shoe wearer. Truly a lovely boot. But not for me. I will be returning these as I am looking for something more durable and reliable as an every day boot. These boots are fashion boots for occasional wear or for someone who does light work. I've got 2 kids and am outdoors often and an also an artist--rough and tumble. I would certainly tear the leather and scuff the toes within the first hour of wearing them.
