Great boot- def size up.

Other reviews encouraged sizing up and there’s no way these would have fit right if I hadn’t. That meant ordering an 11 for me and they are still “stiff” as described in other reviews. They ARE leather so i bought a stretcher for $23 which is helping to soften them. I’m very happy with the overall quality and style and comfort (with insoles added for arch support). I would NOT recommend if you consider your feet WIDE at all. The actual shape runs narrow. I’m excited because I think the style is classic with an edge and should be good for many seasons.
**another review said they are not leather but they def look and smell like leather. One weird thing is the Made in Tunisia was blacked with a sharpie and it has a Made in italy silver stamp (shrug)

nice looking leather boots

I loved these boots and thought seriously about keeping them because it is leather and well constructed and sole is good and would not be slippery but I only wish it came in 1/2 sizes--the 6 was a bit small--as a leather boot it may have stretched and been ok but wasn't sure if I wanted to be uncomfortable until that happened --and I knew the size 7 would not fit well because I have narrow ankles and the boot will be too loose as I'd walk in them

Beautiful look but too small

Loved the look of these boots! I ordered size 11 but these boots were way too tight everywhere. The width, the calf, the instep, the length, everywhere the boot was too small. Had to return.

Great Style, Poor Construction

These boots are exactly the style I was looking for. I love the lug sole and that there's no stretchy panel on the shaft. I think they are true to size and that they are a reasonable calf width. That being said, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. They are very stiff and the way the leather panels are stitched together looks cheap. The zipper on one of the boots I received is sewn incorrectly and it's impossible to zip the boot without the fabric around the zipper getting caught. I would like to add that I received these boots in a completely crushed shoe box and they had no interior packaging to protect the boots, so that definitely didn't help their appearance. I would not recommend these to anyone as I don't think they will last very long.

A Little Stiff

The leather is not soft so they are quite rigid on the legs but the fabric inset panel has a bit of give so they are still comfy enough to wear a few hours and the block heel helps .

High quality boot

The quality of the leather is very thick and will last a long time. I tried these on in store then ordered them online.
They are a bit stiff and will take time to break in, but that's always the case with higher quality leather footwear.
These are definitely not for wide calf ladies.
I think they are comfortable and stylish and fit true to size

Great Boots!

These boots are firm and tight on the feet. BUT you just need to break them in more and wear thinner socks or just tights. Such pretty boots I love them!! And they fit perfectly around my calves!

Nice but. . .

These are nice boots (well constructed, fine looking) but I found the leather very stiff and uncomfortable. I purchased a 9 because I usually wear an 8 1/2 and they only came in whole sizes but they fit fine. The footbed is not cushioned. They fit me well around the calf ( my calves measure a little short of 14" around the widest part). Unfortunately, they just weren't comfortable for me.
