Did Not Measure Up

My husband needed a new pair of slip-on black shoes. Given Clark’s reputation for comfort, I was hopeful these would work but they were immediately a “no” for him. The heal and arch were not a fit so had to return.

Quality downgrade.

Bought these to replace same style purchased 5+ years ago. Surprised price was about the same but found out why. The quality has gone way down. The leather is cheap almost a vinyl look and feel. Also, the shoes squeak loudly on any surface. Wore them about 20 times over six months hoping the squeak would go away with break in. No luck, in the garbage now. May work for someone at a loud worksite but not an office. Will not be buying Clarks again.

My husband is a corporate pilot and loves these shoes. Very comfortable and roomy but still look sharp. Great soles, removable inserts.
