Not only comfy, but very easy to slip in and out of using the zipper. Yet laces can be tightened for more support. The insole, which is removable, has an arch support. I also like that they're fairly light. I wore them all day at an outdoor festival in hot weather, and they stayed cool. Also like the padding around the top.
