I do not love my chacos near as much as I love my Tevas. The straps are difficult to adjust to find a comfortable fit. I got several blisters after the first time wearing them. They don’t allow you to return them either. I think they can be useful in the water because of the tight fit but I prefer my shoes to be useful in and out of the water.

Already falling apart

My sandals are already falling apart. Just ran them through the washing machine and one of the adjustment straps is completely destroyed. Even worse, I had to have these straps shortened so I wouldn't trip over them.

They are great in the water also great on hikes!

I have not worn them very much because I need to break them in. I think my wider straps on my old pair work better for me. I think in time I will like them.

The perfect Chaco! I’ve hiked well over 50 miles in these within the first two weeks of having them, and they are perfect! My puppy gnawed on a strap within 24 hrs which I was NOT thrilled about, but even with that strap fraying they’ve worked perfectly in creeks, rock scrambling, triple digit heat and many miles!!! LOVE ❤️

Good even in snow

I love my new Chacos with the Vibrum sole. Nice and grippy on the snowy sidewalks of Maine. I wear them with hand knit wool socks. Classy.
