Chaco Lowdown Flip Flop

Unfortunately these are quite narrow. I have the z1 classic sandals with vibram soles. Love them. I had them re-chaco’d (new soles) a couple of years ago. I wear a 10. Figured these flips in a 10 would fit the same. These are quite narrow. Had to send them back.

I’ve tried to order three times now and it’s canceled every time. The chacos I did buy were falling part after the first use. Quality has gone down significantly since the last pair I bought in 2014.

Bought two pair because they were on sale and my old fabric lowdowns are falling apart. Perhaps discontinued for a reason... They tear my feet up on the top, either side of the strap. The fabric ones tie the toe strap into the top with a thin strip of soft fabric-the leather ones have a big leather square with sharp edges. I'll try to sand them down or trim them, but they are super painful out of the box.

Kind of a weird fit compared to the old footbed. I have always done a lot of hiking in my chaco flips. This footbed is definitely less supportive than the only ones, but maybe neither here nor there compared to the current footbed used on the standard flips. After 2 months it's already somewhat worn down. The quality of chaco flips has been a consistent downward trend, but they still fit me well.

Fits great. True to size vs. other brand sandals. Very comfortable.
