Carhartt Wellington 10" Waterproof Steel Toe Wedge Work Boot - Men's

Unhappy in an understatement. The cost vs. quality in comparison to these boots is nowhere near equivalent or justifiable. First week using the boots, water rushed right in thru the sole seams. It's been a little over a month now, just as uncomfortable as the first time I set my feet inside. Terrible blisters. Carhartt store wanted nothing to do with helping, and I gave up hope with calling corporate. I'll be taking the hit for this one. Will be tossing in the trash and investing in a real boot manufacture. A company that stands behind their product. Not one that plans a cat and mouse game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure how these boots would workout and I was hesitant to purchase as I'm more of a lace up boot person. I have 3 other pairs of Carhartt boots so I knew the quality was going to be great. Bottom line- very nice addition to my collection. Fits is great. I'm an 11 & M fit and these boots fit true to size. They are very sturdy & and feel like they will last forever. Very comfortable and warm. PS- I use a tie around the top part of the boot in between the pull loops to add a snug fit. I'm not a guys with big calves! LOL. Plus, I wear my jeans over the boot so you don't see it. Maybe Carhartt can add a leather back buckle in future versions.
