Brooks Ghost Max L Walking Shoe - Men's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had Ghost 14, 15, & 16 but this is the first Max. As great as the others were this is even better. HArd to believe that it's even more comfortable. To top it off, the leather looks terrific. Can even wear these to the office and meetings.

The inside of the shoe is very comfortable; however, I have cerebral palsy and these shoes are very difficult to walk in. The soles seem to pitch me forward and threaten my already challenged balance. I am returning them. For years I've bought and enjoyed the Addiction Walker. This time I thought I'd try something different, but this high quality shoe is not intended for someone like me. The Addiction Walker is the shoe for me.

Too narrow for my foot. Otherwise an OK but nothing special shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Ghost Max shoes. This is my 2nd pair. I wanted a leather shoe for walking and could wear on trails on rainy days or to the store. In these shoes you do need to go up a 1/2 size. There is so much padding and the comfortable design take up more space inside the shoe. The shoe fits so comfortably and every step feels like I'm walking on clouds and marshmallows. Brooks shoes help me so much with arthritis in my feet and with this brand of super soft comfort, I can continue to walk and stand longer and remain more active. I have 7 pairs of Brooks and have a pair on everyday to keep my feet healthy and lower my pain level. I tell everyone I see shoe shopping or standing in lines just how comfortable my Ghost Max shoes are and how my feet are not hurting while I'm wearing them standing in lines at the airport or grocery lines. I'm thankful my podiatrist recommended my 1st pair.

This is a great shoe for your morning walk as wellsss.an all day shoe for any activity. It is supportive yet flexible and very comfortable. This is a well constructed shoe that will last

While I prefer shoes that add additional arch support these did support. After I returned these I found ones that added more support for plantar fasciitis.
